OUR CHURCH

Source Connection is a new church in Rock Hill, SC!  Our desire is to share the greatest news that can possibly be shared to as many persons as we can and to see them fully developed in their relationship with God.  We are building a community of everyday people who care about the community, desire to grow spiritually and live authentically...one person at a time! We invite you to join the movement to "rock" Rock Hill with the good news!  We meet for Sunday morning service in Manchester Cinemas from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM.

NOTE: DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS WE ARE MEETING ONLINE ON FB AND YOUTUBE TILL FURTHER NOTICE.

VISION

A multi-cultural community of believers passionate for God and love for each other fulfilling the Great Commission.

MISSION

To embody and share the good news, connect people with God, and disciple them into full spiritual development.

CORE IDENTITY

Reconciliation

All are the children of God; many have been reconciled and many have not. Therefore our goal is the reconciliation of the Father’s estranged children through Christ. Everyone has been given the ministry of reconciliation and we are united as one to go into every sector of society and share the good news in pursuit of the reconciliation of the lost. (2 Cor 5:18-20, Matt 28:19-20)

Love

We express our love for God by loving our neighbor. Our neighbor is anyone who we encounter in day to day life including the homeless, hurting, elderly, forgotten, poor, widows, and orphans. We will love everyday, out loud, unapologetically and with our resources.  (John 13:34-35)

Growth

The next phase in the journey of a new believer is to grow and develop as a son or daughter of God. The goal is for all to walk in the full measure of the glory of God within us. The only standard for our living in our full potential is Christ Jesus. We therefore see everyone as an apprentice (disciple) of Christ with the goal of becoming fully developed like Him. (Matt 28:18-20, 2 Pet 3:18, 1 Pet 2:2, 3 John 1:4, Heb 5:12)

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE

The Scriptures

  • All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.  (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

     GOD

  • In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.  (Genesis 1:1)

  •  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.  (1 John 5:7)

     JESUS

  • In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.  (John 1:1-3)

  • And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.  (John 1:14)

    FALLEN STATE OF MAN

  • For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  (Romans 3:23)

  • For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (Romans 6:23)

   THE GOOD NEWS

  • For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.  (John 3:16-17)

   HOW TO RECEIVE SALVATION

  • If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

       (Romans 10:9-10)

    MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

  • But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.  (Acts 1:8)

  • Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.  (1 Corinthians 12:4-11)

   THE RETURN OF CHRIST

  • For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.  (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)

   ETERNAL JUDGEMENT

  • And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.  (Revelation 20:12)
